About Hynetwork

Hynetwork (in full Hynetwork Services B.V.) wants to develop and manage large-scale hydrogen infrastructure in the Netherlands. This infrastructure is needed to make the transition from fossil fuels to sustainable raw materials and fuels.

Hynetwork will realize the hydrogen infrastructure in a relatively short period of time by reusing existing gas transport networks. At locations where the existing network is not suitable or is not available in time, new pipelines will be laid.

In the North Sea Canal Area, Northern Netherlands, Rotterdam and Zeeland – West Brabant industrial clusters there are advanced plans to realize regional hydrogen pipelines in the coming years. These regional hydrogen networks will form the beginning of the national hydrogen network in the Netherlands, connecting supply and demand with each other, with the future hydrogen storage facility in the north of the Netherlands and with other countries.

Hynetwork is a 100% subsidiary of N.V. Nederlandse Gasunie.
